Peace of Mind—an expression defined as calm, inner tranquility, an absence of turmoil, worry, and uncertainty. For most home buyers, peace of mind is generally not synonymous with what they expect to experience in the process of building a new home. Rightfully so, buyers can be very hesitant to sign on the dotted line, as they have heard stories from their friends about all of the pricing challenges that occurred with builders after signing for what they thought was a confirmed price.
At Walker Villas, we strive to provide our buyers with an up-front “all-in pricing approach”. This process begins with our sales team who work with our buyers step-by-step, pricing out various options and encouraging questions to provide a very close “final” figure. This pricing even includes the model numbers of appliances which surprisingly may not be included in some builders’ pricing. Our sales team’s goal is to set selections within budgets so when clients step foot into our design center, the design team knows where to focus. This is not to say buyers will not stray outside of the program, although at least they will know their pricing parameters.
Our models are valuable sales tools as well, providing good representations of the many options available, both standard and upgrades, to aid in the selection process. Our price sheets are created to include many upgraded options so buyers can walk away with actual numbers. And when customization is requested outside of the spreadsheet, our objective is to say “yes” and work to obtain builder pricing as quickly as possible allowing the buyers to make an informed decision.
Once the contract is signed, Peace of Mind communication continues among all parties throughout the building process. This includes involvement in the field with the assistance of our onsite superintendent who not only is available to address questions and facilitate walk-throughs, but is genuinely interested in the buyers’ successful building experience, both before and after move-in.
We recognize that this is the home our buyers have been dreaming about and planning for, often for years, and we take that seriously. Although not always perfect, our intent is to provide a smooth, relatively stress-free experience so once the dotted line is signed, our buyers can sit back and enjoy watching the magic of their new homes unfold before their eyes, striving to make Peace of Mind a cornerstone of their experience and allowing them to quickly fall in love with their new luxury condominium at Walker Villas.
